Name: Nullah
Age: Baby
Sex: Male
Nullah was found clinging to his mum, she was trampled to death by cattle but managed to hold onto her baby to keep him safe. He was suffering from severe pneumonia, a broken arm, internal bleeding & a head injury that caused balance & co-ordination issues, so many issues that he had a very poor diagnosis.

With daily specialised care (4 hourly feeds) he was eventually ready to move into a purpose-built pre-release enclosure to practice climbing large trees, jumping, interacting with other koalas & he then went from strength to strength.

After a lengthy rehabilitation, Nullah was successfully released. He was a special boy that touched the hearts of many people & hope his release will help with the survival of this precious & iconic species.

Released back to his home territory!
